DIY: Photo Pillows for Mother’s Day

photo pillow

Last night we made these photo pillows to send off to my mom for mother’s day.

We chose some pictures of my son at different ages and printed them out on Epson Iron-On Peel Transfer paper. We ironed them on one of Dad’s old button-downs, backed them with red fabric, sewed them up and stuffed them.

It’s kind of uncanny to see your child play with a doll of himself–we spent a good amount of time tossing them around the room–but I know my mom will get a kick out of a gift of tiny dolls of her grandson. The largest is only about 10″.
